Flame retardant chemistry ensures end products that, in all their style and substance, slow the rate of fire and decrease the generation of burn and smoke.

Wespo Silicone is a material that is inherently self-extinguishing. Most of Wespo general purpose grades meet UL94 however, in applications such as aerospace, rail transit, and other mass transit industries, there are much higher standards for the self-extinguishing and low-smoke emission qualities from UL94Vo Flame Retardant Silicone Rubber.

At Wespo we manufacture rubber molding in with a wide variety of flame retardant silicone rubber grades. These grades all meet

as well as the halogen, toxicity, and smoke emission standards for most airline and train operators around the world. Our offered compounds can also come in various hardness grades and can be changed in color for specific customer requirements. Wespo operates to the ISO9001 quality systems, and we have the traceability requirement. We operate with supliers which offer high traceability levels required for products in these specialist sectors.

We can extrude custom Flame Retardant Silicone Rubber seals that are often used as fire safety door seals, seat or bulkhead seals, either supplied as extruded profiles ( P tapes, D Profiles, e profiles , fabricated complete Silicone Rubber Gaskets, or moulded flame retardant silicone rubber parts, and adhesive backed if required.
